Rock Rescue
Come join an ACMG guide for a day of Rock Rescue in Squamish or Golden BC. If you are planning on trad climbing, multi-pitch climbing, alpine climbing, or even single pitch cragging these are critical skills to keep yourself safe out there. We provide an encouraging environment for an intense day of learning! Our goal is to empower new and experienced climbers alike to become leaders within their climbing community. Learning technical rescue skills now could be the key to getting out of jam later. Expect to learn:
-Escaping the Belay -Rope Ascending
-Lowering -Hauling
-Rappelling with a casualty -Breaking into non-releasable systems
-Rappelling without an ATC -Alternative Belay methods
You will be required to sign a waiver on the morning of your course. Please familiarize yourself with it here⦠ACMG waiver
