Technical Climbing Week

This week-long course will teach you everything covered in our intro courses, culminating in an ascent of the Stawamus Chief. The course features 6 days of climbing with one rest/weather day to add flexibility.

Join us for this week long course! This is the ultimate way to get into Squamish rock!

Participants will enjoy a warm-up multi-pitch rock climb and then an ascent of the Chief!

$1375.00 per person

Sample Itinerary

     Day 1 - Meet in Squamish, go toprope climbing, review basic knots and top rope belaying, learn about tope rop anchors and anchor theory. Practice climbing technique and get an intro to crack climbing.

     Day 2 - Intro to gear placement and removal, belaying a leader, belaying a second. Building trad anchors. More climbing!

     Day 3 - Intro to multipitch climbing, and complete a multipitch route!

     Day 4 - Rest day

     Day 5 - An opportunity to review and practice all skills from previous days, expand on those skills, and do more climbing. Participants will have the opportunity to do their first trad leads if they so desire.

     Day 6 - Rock Rescue day

     Day 7 - Climb the Chief!

(Days are usually 8am-4pm, sometimes start earlier for a big climb, and sometimes finish a little later/earlier depending on conditions and objectives)
